@Pitch64 Cool, thanks -- that's what I thought. As much as I get excited for new versions of these things, the thought of having to redo it all again can be so daunting!!

@ian57 I'll give it a shot... Was there supposed to be an update notice on 6 allowing for an online update for 7 within Recalbox -- or its it like 6 where you could only do a fresh install? Asking since I never got any kind of notice for a 7.0 update.

@ian57 Oh great, good to know! Are there bugs w/ the scraper as well? I tried adding roms for a few systems to test out, but no info was fetched for any of it whereas they all worked perfectly on 6 and prior.

This is a weird one... I tried updating to 7.0 and noticed the network status read 'Not Connected' even though I had a wifi connection and was able to connect via network like always. It was bugging me and I was having issues w/ the scraper grabbing anything, so I figured it was bc of no connection.

After a few hours of troubleshooting, I reinstalled my last 6.X image and noticed the network status there also said 'Not Connected.' Same thing -- could connect fine via network share. Also, I loaded up Kodi and realized it definitely had an internet connection as it was pulling the latest local weather in my area.

So not quite sure what's going on here... does network status ping a server that's currently not up/active? It seems like a false error, but then again, I'm also unsure as to why the scraper was not working on 7.0...

Hi there! I am looking to upgrade to 6.0 -- but I'm a bit overwhelmed as I've (like all of you) invested a way too much time than I'd like to admit in perfectly configuring my existing Recalbox setup between the games, art, etc.

So question is -- is there a fairly straightforward way to do a clean install of 6.0, as needed, and then migrate all my games/art/etc over to the new install? Any help would be much appreciated!

Aha... I found it! In case anyone is looking like me, the file is now here:

/saves/mame/mame2003/cfg/default.cfg

Does anyone know how to do this in the current version of Recalbox? I seem to have done the same thing, but this file no longer appears to be the one to fix this issue! Thanks all!!

@arcticlion I ran into this problem a month or so ago (I'm on Win 10) and the SMB 1.0 enabling fix did the trick...but now, it's back again and this time there's not a single thing working so far!

Recalbox literally shows up in my Network -- it's right there under 'Computers.' If I click on it, however, it times out and gives me a 'Windows cannot access \RECALBOX' 0x80070035 error.

I can connect to the Recalbox manager just fine using the same name via browser (http://recalbox) and I can even map a network drive to the IP address and access it that way, so technically I can get to it via Windows Explorer.

Still, I am bugged that I can't just click on the shared name right from the network list! Not the end of the world, but I'd love to figure it out...
