Hi, yes it's possible ! You will have to enable the gamecon GPIO in the https://github.com/digitalLumberjack/recalbox-os/wiki/recalbox.conf-(EN) and use the pinout at https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/gamecon_gpio_rpi

I don't know. If you only have 3.3v you can test both safely.
