      Buongiorno a tutti, ho comprato da poco un display da 3,5" e vorrei utilizzarlo anche su Recalbox, come posso fare?

        @Lobi00 SPI or DPI ? see https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/TFT-Screen-SPI-Bus-(EN) and https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/TFT-Screen-DPI-Bus-(EN)

            The 3.5inch SPI tft screen is not good for arcade. You'll never get more then 20fps due to the resolution and the SPI bus bandwidth. You should consider a 3.2" with 320x240 resolution or a 3.5 DPI screen.

                @Lobi00 You're linking a HDMI tft screen not a dpi screen. Be careful, it is written 480x320 to 1920x1080 resolution... don't know if such a small screen can display such resolution.

                  @ian57 thank you, so, what display do you suggest it's better to use?

                    the 3.5" inch HDMI will be simple to connect and configure (if you know exactly the native resolution).

                    I tested a 5" here https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/TFT5-Screen-HDMI-(EN)

                    I tested this 3.5" dpi screen https://www.banggood.com/Geekwrom-HD-3_5-Inch-TFT-Display-Shield-800x480-For-Raspberry-Pi-3B-2B-With-2-Keys-And-Remote-IR-p-1069730.html 800x480 resolution
                    the image is amazing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKdItNspYVM

                    for spi screen i recommend you the 320x240 3.2" tft https://www.banggood.com/3_2-Inch-TFT-LCD-Display-Module-Touch-Screen-For-Raspberry-Pi-B-B-A-p-1011516.html see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcFk_vjQLVo
