      Hey Guys,
      i overclocked my Raspberry Pi3 (latest Recalbox version) by putting the following lines in the boot.config

      arm_freq=1400
      over_voltage=4
      sdram_freq=575
      sdram_schmoo=0x02000020
      over_voltage_sdram_p=6
      over_voltage_sdram_i=4
      over_voltage_sdram_c=4
      core_freq=500
      v3d_freq=500
      h264_freq=333
      gpu_mem=256
      force_turbo=1
      dtparam=sd_overclock=100

      I removed the preset gpu_mem from the boot.config.

      Note: I have passive AND active cooling and i'm aware of the fact that force_turbo=1 will void my warranty.

      However, i did this to have a few more FPS while playing PSX games or in order to play PSX games with a higher resolution. I did not check the actual FPS (is there a tool for that)?

      I can't see any subjective improvement while playing the games. Does anyone have an idea why that is?

      Best regards
      Eomer

        I recently added a fan to my Pi and thinking of overclocking. Did you ever end up seeing a difference or did overclocking do nothing for you? Thanks!

          What do you mean by "boot.config" ???

          You must edit your config.txt, not a other file (and put permissions because this file is RO)

          For me i just edit config.txt with this values (from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3B3AnuOmRcQ) and it's great !

          arm_freq=1400
          over_voltage=4
          gpu_freq=450
