Selected PSX Games not working with DS3 Controller
-
I set up my Recalbox in my RP3 (I'm using the unstable version 4.1.0) and a Dual Shock 3 via rp3 internal bluetooth (without the bluetooth dongle).
So far, everything perfect. But yesterday i discover that when running some games specifically selected from the PSX, games like: Chrono trigger, Final Fantasy from V to IX, the game enters the emulator, starts, show the intro of theese games, however the control does not seem to respond, i cannot choose the New Game or Load Game/Option, none of the buttons work. However i can acess config options Retroarch with Hotkey + button B.
I searched here in the forum and did not see this problem, can anyone help me?

@alexsansrs You can't get any help on 4.1 yet because it's not available for public testing, so use it at your own risk.
Still, I'm curious ... Is it an official DS3 or a chinese clone ? I didn't try PSX while upgrading the BT stack to handle the pi3, i'll give it a try maybe tonight.
Do you have the same problem with 4.0 ?

Thanks for the answer. It is an official DS3, i choose the 4.1 because this support of BT lol. Also read that the retroarch had 2 other drivers for the DS3 inside a cfg file, i'll try later too. Thanks

@alexsansrs it already happened to me on arcade that a pad doesn't toggle coins whereas the select key would work anywhere else. But tis case ais surprising ... do you have the same when switching to sdl2 input method in recalbox.conf ?

Yes @Substring , I tried to change but with no sucess. But I was able to solve the problem.
For those who go through similar problems here is the hint, I simply took a backup of the entire System folder that i had and replaced the files. The control started working, i don't know if there is a way to reset all the configs via Recalbox but if there is, you should try these. Thanks for the help Substring.

@alexsansrsyou can reset retroarch config, yes, quite easily.Still i'm glad that was a user side problem
