Controller doesn't work immediately.

I have both a Xbox 360 controller and a Logitech F310 hooked up and working in EmulationStation. But once I load a ROM nothing works for about a minute. I have to button mash my controllers before they work. My Xbox 360 controller light blinks so I know they are getting power. EmulationStation and Kodi work flawlessly (Expect for the occasional 360 controller freak out in Kodi.) I do not have this issue within RetroPie. But I have other issues with it that made me come to this. And I overall like this more.

I am using a RPI3 with recalboxOS 4.0.0-beta4.

you need to edit recalbox.conf and active xboxdrv driver.

Xbox controllers are already supported, but xboxdrv can solve some compatibility issues

Enable xboxdrv driver, disable this if you enabled ps3 controllers (0,1)

controllers.xboxdrv.enabled=0

Set the amount of controllers to use with xboxdrv (0..4)
