Recalbox Broke after 8.1 update on PC

Hi, everyone.
I have Recalbox installed on a Internal HD on a old PC, ever since version 7.0 with no troubles at all.
Specs are:

• Gigabyte GA-945GZM-S2;
• Pentium E5800;
• 2x 2GB Ram 800 MHz (limited to 3,25GB by chipset)
• GeForce 9500 GT;

All was working flawlessly on Recalbox 8.0.1 but with the 8.1 update Recalbox starts on VGA resolution (640x480) and acts extremelly slowly. Menu is totally slugshy and when I start any emulator it's impossible to play, due to slowlyness (no matter if it is Atari 2600 or Dreamcast).

Any help on getting it to work properly will be apreciated.
