      Hi all.
I have issues with swanstation and some games that i try to play. When the game start, system will freeze when i press a button and i have to remove the power. Also the problematic games don't have audio.
      The games i try are:

Final Fantasy IX, Ape Escape, Chrono Cross

Can someone please confirm this issue so to be sure that i dont have issue with my hardware ? Thanks!

@ion Have you checked that it's not the ROM?
Try with another ROM from the same game.

Yes, i have verified roms and bios hashes. I have try and different sd card and reinstall of the system with the same result.

I believe the issue is related with this that i report few months ago:https://forum.recalbox.com/topic/26243/lr-swanstation-poor-performance-on-rpi3-rpi4
Now the problem is not so big but still exists and affect almost 30% of my psx roms.
(Sorry i lost access to my old account).

@ion In the issue you opened, you mentioned that:

Maybe the issue is releated with the pulse audio driver in RetroArch. If i change to alsathread the games running noticable better!

Does this still affect the result?

Yes sir. You can test Final Fantasy IX with swanstation.

With the pulse audio the game will start fine. After you start a new game the intro will start playing without audio and when you try to open retroarch menu or press start, the game will freeze the system.

With the alsatread audio, the game playing fine but no sound.

@ion Sorry, I can't test it right now.
Can you test with another SD card, on a clean unmodified image, just adding the BIOS and one of the ROMs that has the problem?

Yes i test a fresh install on a new sd card wit the same results. I try swanstation in Lakka to check if it is a emulator problem but here the games are running without this issues.

@cdtpepette J'utilise la version américaine des jeux, qui n'ont pas de protection Libcrypt, ils n'ont pas besoin du fichier SBI. Merci
