      Why again never said or write that boot recalbox on rb4 via composite we need:

      Firs open recalbox\config.txt file, find the lines

      [pi4]
      arm_64bit=1
      temp_soft_limit=70
      dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d
      include crt/recalbox-crt-config.txt

      and change it to dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d

      [pi4]
      arm_64bit=1
      temp_soft_limit=70
      dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d
      include crt/recalbox-crt-config.txt

      Then we need go to recalbox\recalbox-user-config.txt
      And change sdtv_mode=2 - for NTSC
      or
      sdtv_mode=2 - for PAL

      after that, put the lines there:

      hdmi_force_hotplug=0
      hdmi_ignore_hotplug=1
      enable_tvout=1

      ..... and only after that we've got picture and sound on our TV

      • WHY IS SO HARD?????
        AND WHY THIS IS NOWHWERE WRITEN?????
        😬

        @iga Because it is NOT related to recalbox.

        It is related to raspberry's firmwares and they are evolving and changing on every release too. We CAN'T write documention of THEIR firmware just because Recalbox is relying on.

            Recalbox is your firmware for their hardware. And file recalbox-user-config.txt, where listed only "uncomment for composite PAL" and no one else, is yours....
            I mean, maybe it would be appropriate to specify in more detail there all the relevant information on the case inside this file? (since raspberry is the first in the list in the download section)

              @iga It's not our options. config.txt is a firmware configuration files that includes all other recalbox-*.txt. The include system is just a convenient way to split up all the firmware options.

              You can find updated documentation on raspberry website.

              We're doing lots of efforts to test all what we can, but of course we can't be accurate on everything, in particular on things relying on options Raspberry is changing all along the evolution of their firmware.

                not quite understood - got raspberry nearly 2 years ago... Use only recalbox and retropie on separated micro sd. So what is options Rspberry is changed in this case?
