GPi Case 2 PPSSPP Black screen (with sound)

PPSSPP appears to load in my GPi Case 2 running Recalbox 8. I can hear sound and it seems to respond to key presses, but only a black screen. I can press Hotkey+B, but only a mouse cursor appears at the top level corner. Any ideas?
