What Os is recalbox using?

i want to know what OS ist recalbox using. I want to setup a (server) system with recalbox / Kodi and more things on it like:

• Nextcloud
• TS3
• Jitsi
• pihole

So I need Information about the main system behind recalbox. Is ist a striped down linux, or normal linux system (whitch is it?).
