SNES at full screen

Hi Everybody, I like to know if there is a way to play snes games at full screen at my tv. Recalbox menue is find and already running at full screen. I only have issues with games. I have considerably big black bords on the left/right/up/down. I've played around with the screen formats but even 16:9 does not solve my problem entirely. Thanks and greetz Hazard
