Setting up X-Arcade TankStick

I am trying to set up an X-Arcade TankStick with Recalbox. Recalbox did not recognize it so I'm trying to manually configure it. However, I am thoroughly confused. First few times it stated that it did not recognize a device and even when I pushed a button (or two) nothing happened.

Any help or instructions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

@paradadf Thanks for responding! Yes, I did read that and that setting was already set to 1. I also update the pd3 toggle to off and the db9 to on. rebooted and I then was able to configure. Now my problem is that after I set each button, I highlight "ok" but nothing I click on the controller allows me to click it so it saves the settings.
