Odroid XU4 Splash Video Glitch

Hi. I am running the Dragonblaze 6.1 update on my Odroid XU4. The opening / splash video creates a visual glitch which remains visible after Emulation Station has booted. It obscures all the menus and only disappears after I load a game. Any fixes or ways of disabling the splash video?
