Wired XBOX360 controller boot loop?

I have my recalbox set up and it works fine with PS3 controllers. I put another together and got wired XBOX360 controllers which work fine, as long as I don’t keep them plugged in when I start the system.

If I have them plugged in and start the system, the loading screen starts, then the screen goes black, then the loading screen comes back and goes black over and over again.

If I have them unplugged, start it up, let it load, THEN plug them in, they’re fine.

Is there a work around to this to keep them plugged in the entire time and not have to worry about a boot loop?

Your help is appreciated as I am pretty new to this still.

That's a power supply issue. Your power supply does not deliver enough current.
