Solved NES new configuration for controllers not working

Hi there,

I've just follow this page https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/How-to-use-custom-config-for-emulators-(EN), since I want to remap the NES buttons.

but...

After saving the recalbox.conf, when a started any nes game, the system says:
"failed saving config to (my dir)", and nothing works... I have to shutdown the system...

What am I doing wrong? this is what I've added - nes.configfile=/RECALBOX/share/system/.config/retroarch/config/remaps/FCEUmm/NEScontrollers.cfg

@rodsbrito try writing /recalbox/... wirh lower case.

@paradadf I’ve tried, but when I click on the “save” button, the word recalbox saves with upper case...

Weird...

Any more tips?

Hi, now it finally works

tried two things:
a) used notepad++ to edit the config file
b) change from nes.configfile=/RECALBOX/share/system/.config/retroarch/config/remaps/FCEUmm/NEScontrollers.cfg to nes.configfile=/recalbox/share/system/.config/retroarch/config/remaps/FCEUmm/NES.cfg

not sure exactly what was the problem...
