problem of USB stick
-
Hello,
I wanted to install a recent recalbox (version for pc) on a 16 GB usb stick (SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0) but after installation the usb stick was a problem because the size is found with only 67.1 MB. All uninstalled but it did nothing ...!
Have you ever heard of this problem with usb stick ? And how can I find the original size of the usb stick ?
How to prevent this from happening with another usb stick ?
Thanks for your help!!! -
@djeje Please do not SPAM, post in only 1 language and wait for someone to respond. You do not have any problem, you just have not read the manual, nor researched it in the forum because you want an automatic response, you do not want to waste your time, but you want others to waste their time for you, this is your only problem.
On what you call problem, it's just a natural part of the process, you burn the official image, 2 partitions are created, one really small, and when you start Recalbox for the first time it will "hang" on a black screen temporarily while creating the third partition: SHARE. After that, you can play normally. BUT, Recalbox is Linux based, and not all partitions are visible in Windows. You can access the SHARE partition over the network so you can transfer the ROMS and whatever else you want.

I have indeed written my message in two languages because I am French and to increase a better chance of obtaining an answer that can help me. on ubuntu, I only see 67.1 MB on my usb stick .
In addition, I did not find anything on the forum about it that could help me. Thank you -
