Turning RecalBox off Safely on my Raspberry Pi 3

Hi I just installed RecalBox on my Rasp Pi 3, but I have no idea how to safely turn the system off before unplugging the power supply, I have checked out cases like Rasptendo but these are hard to get in Australia where I am located,

I was wondering if their was a software approach to exiting RecalBox safely before unplugging power supply?, or if you can recommend any alternative cases that use python scripts like Rasptendo allows that turns of Raspberry Pi and RecalBox safely using a connected switch.
