Solved recalbox resolution problem

hi i have a problem.i have rasberry pi3 and an old lcd monitor 4:3 and it has 2 inputs vga and dvi.i have connect with hdmi adaptor to vga and i see the menu of recalbox.when i start the game i have no screen on my monitor it says the resolution is not supported.do you have an idea what is wrong?if i find the cable is better to connect to dvi?thank you sorry for my english

i have no success i have made so many tests.do you think its better to connect with dvi or my monitor is bad i have a hyundai u90d

so many test i have with the config.txt i will try with the recalbox.conf and i will tell you thank a lot
