1. I did not understand how it will be updated before 18.03.30. It was necessary to reinstall this OS from the image from scratch. I started, I chose my language - RUSSIAN. But it does not appear correctly, how can I fix the problem? Help me please

2. The second problem with the resolution in the emulators.
   Recalbox and Kody work fine in 1080p. And when I start the game, then from the right side of the screen there is a vertical bar (about 2 inches wide) on the entire screen. How to fix it?

EmulationStation is the software where you choose which game to play

Retroarch is a a multi emulator. Each emulator in itself is called a core.

Libretro is a "programming technology" to make any emulator work with retroarch
