PSX Mouse Support

Hi,
Is there a chance to get mouse working for PSX?
There are quite many interesting PSX games with mouse support, so I'd like to give it a try.
I've already connected a Bluetooth Mouse with Recalbox already, which works quite fine for example in DosBox.
Unfortunately I can't choose it in RetroArch. Is there a way? Or is it supported at all?
I've just found a little information that it has been implemented not long ago, but not sure this means it works in Recalbox:
