Help with led light setup

PLEASE HELP I IM NEW TO RECALBOX AND IM TRYING TO INSTALL AND SETUP A LED STATUS/POWER LIGHT. ITS A BIT DIFFERENT THAN RETROPIE . A step by step would be very much appreciated. Thank you

I would recommend getting a resistor for the positive (330Ω) afterwards I solved this issue by going into the "Config" file in the sd-card (connected to pc) and adding the line " enable_uart = 1 " at the end. (Use notepad to open config file) Best of luck!
