Most of the PSX games are slow
-
Ok go 3.3.0 beta
-
Okay, I'll try. I'm going to give feedback when I'm finished
-
Thanks
-
For now, I couldn't even copy the files over, because the pi keeps disconnecting from the router, so all of my files get corrupt. I had to reinstall Recalbox like 3 times already.
-
Try to use winscp
-
Okay, Copying files
-
With Winscp, copying looks stable
-
Okay, WIth Overclock, No rewind and Game smoothing off, 90% of the PSX games work now with 95%-100% performance  Thanks for the help!
-
Not working games are: (painfully slow or generally unplayable) B****y Roar 2 Crash Bash Ehrgeiz Kensei - Sacred Fist Sled Storm Walt Disney World Quest Magical racing tour ( in multiplayer player 1 can't go left) After some testing I'll expand the list if I have to
-
B****y Roar 2 works fine and in fullspeed on my RPi2. I use the 3.3.0 beta5 (+ update to beta6) and overclocking to 1050Mhz via system settings in recalbox (except overclocking, i have left all other settings in recalbox on default, so i don't know if rewind and smoothing are activated. I guess on default it is disabled). It is important to use good quality and/or short microUSB-cable + 5V 2A power supply (i use Apple iPad power supply 5.2V and 2.4A and a very short microUSB-cable). Â I will test other games, that you listed and give feedback.
-
I have everything you just mentioned, but B****y roar 2 just runs really slow, like Half speed. I have Beta 5 + update Overclocked to 1050 Revind and smoothing are off, My cable's short, so I don't know why it won't work full speed
-
Hi do you have sometimes a little multicolor square on the top right of your screen?
-
Yes
-
Ok so you have a problem with your power supply. That can explain the problem of framerate. Try others supply and others cables. I'm using this one and I never had problems. http://www.amazon.fr/gp/aw/d/B00U88KSHO/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1442433607&sr=1-1&pi=SY200_QL40&dpPl=1&dpID=415in6zq%2BdL&ref=plSrch
-
I just replaced my USB cable, testing it now
-
Ok so, test differents power supply and cables until you no more see this square on your screen. And if you dont find a good association, buy a good supply for your rpi
-
Should the box appear on boot? The game now runs perfectly (I think) it has some sound crackling here and there, but runs on 100%
-
This should be in the FAQ. FOr info Daniel, it's written in the diy page that you must have a quality > 1.5amp power supply. That's meant to avoid this kind of time loss
-
Looks like my cable was at fault. I have an 5V1.5A quality charger. I wouldn't call this time loss, because I got to learn from it. With that said, Thank you for all your help so far!

For the PSX emulator IÂ noticed while trying Bushido Blade 2 that it was running full speed when using 720p videomode but lagged a lot with 1080p so it maybe a good idea to force the videomode for PSX to 720p in the next release (or even 480p since I think PSX games resolution is below that)
