Unsolved Games won't work if storage is usb and hat is on

If I use USB storage and at the same time have the RetroTINK-ULTIMATE on, games won't boot. But they will boot from the SD card. Though it might be some setting I use that is stored on the USB that causes the issue. Or not, games stems I never changed also do not work.

It worked now after a soft restart, doing a hard restart now....
Works. Please ignore... Wonder why it happens though.

This happened again today. So not really solved. A restart fixed the issue. But why is this happening. I'm using the official psu.

That link did not work but I found it anyway. Seems to happen at random so might take some time befor I report back.
