no, emulationstation does not start. when I boot recalboxOS after the install I get a black blank screen. After pressing ALT+F3 I see the same as already posted above:

I extracted /root/recalbox.log with my mac out of the ext4 partition.

Ok i got it... I'm compiling the new version. Shame on me. https://github.com/digitalLumberjack/recalbox-buildroot/commit/940f4b64a203d4ee42f3dcae5c71006e4efbc888 loadkeys had no argument as i did not check the variable. So it blocked the script, waiting for input...

Good job! Boot fonctionnel également sous rpi1 B+. J'ai configuré le bébé en passant exclusivement par le fichier recalbox.conf et tout a bien été pris en compte. Seul mon problème de wifi persiste. Je te mettrai le retour de la commande dmesg plus tard. Madame commence à avoir les crocs...

Alors j'ai pu tester et là tout est OK, ça fonctionne. J'ai réussi à écrire le SSID et la clé de ma wifi (avec la technique de changer la langue) mais il m'a affiché un "Erreur de configuration Wifi". Après j'ai tenté de démarrer le scraper, et après avoir appuyé sur "skip" quelques fois je suis retourné au menu, et la musique c'était arrêtée, puis à un moment on voyait des artefacts à l'écran, puis après l'image était déformée et descendait (un peu comme quand on branche une prise péritel sur une vieille télé cathodique (moi j'ai une télé LED donc...), puis plus rien... et quelques secondes après l'image était revenue. j'ai redémarré et sans avoir touché à rien la musique se coupait de temps en temps. C'est très space O_o

No real issues. Summary: Completely fresh install on RPi2 and edited the config so I could get the output on my monitor. WiFi via Edimax EW-7811Un works (but no special characters) When I go to Update is says there is an update but I've not installed it. I'm still having a strange anomaly where a PSX image transferred by Windows 8.1 doesn't work but if I transfer it via Android it does. Will continue investigating.

C'est amusant, je me suis rendu compte que lors d'un scan de mon réseau la recalbox était présente (elle a la clé wifi d'insérée et est configurée pour normalement se connecter sur ma wifi). J'ai tenté d'y accéder mais sans succès... PS : j'ai testé un jeu PS1 pour voir la fluidité et effectivement c'est génial. Le seul hic c'est qu'à un moment totalement random plus aucun son... c'est revenu en haché un peu après, puis hop tout redevient normal comme si de rien n'était... Et j'ai aussi l'impression que parfois les boutons réagissent plus, en tout cas je peux pas spammer le bouton de saut du coup c'est légèrement gênant. PPS : J'ai testé vite fait un jeu n64 mais aucun son, d'ailleurs ça a bugué juste après puis je suis revenu sur ES. Ok, mais là où ça devient un problème, c'est que ES s'est mis à buguer un peu de la même manière que ce que j'avais décrit plus haut.

Sorry, my french is bad. I use an EDIMAX EW-7811UN with recalboxOS. This dongle has in some constelations sleepmode problems. I already put an entry on github for that. To solve this issue, you need to add a following line to the file /etc/modprobe.d/8192cu.conf: options 8192cu rtw_power_mgnt=0 rtw_enusbss=0 Without this modification you the dongle is only working properly when you initiate the traffic from the RPi. If you try to connect from outside to the RPi it could fail because the wifi dongle is in sleep mode.

Hello and thank you for your answer. So, I gave a look, and i didn't find this directory /etc/modprobe.d/ and anymore this file /8192cu.conf in my system. I tried to create them manually and nothing new after reboot of my rpi. Before this beta, I never had problems with the wifi on recalboxOS.

C'est tout à fait normal que tu vois ta recalbox sur ton réseau. La partition share, celle qui contient les répertoires des roms, sauvegardes de jeux, bios et depuis peu le fichier /system/recalbox.conf (fichier permettant de configurer rapidement différentes options de sa recalbox, comme le wifi, la langue, région du clavier etc... depuis n'importe quel pc) et partagée via un serveur. Cela permet de venir ajouter des fichiers sur cette partition depuis n'importe quel pc connecté au même réseau que ta recalbox.
