I can't find the right setting with my Sony PVM 14M2U monitor.
I have tried various configurations, but the screen is never aligned correctly.Currently used:
Raspberry Pi 3b
Recalbox 18.07.13
Gert-VGA VGA666 Adapter Board
VGA Male to BNC Male Adapter (5 BNC. 3 RGB + 2 sync H / V)

I believe that the problem is of the "hdmi_timings" line, in fact even with other values taken from the web, I always get unsatisfactory results. But isn't there any way to put the correct values based on my monitor?

There is no "perfect" setting as they all need to be adjusted on a case by case basis depending on what the monitor needs. So in short, someone elses values could completely screw you up if they varied drastically from your original values.
