@randyslim76 ok, now I see the registry key for OS language doesn‘t exist in your pc (no idea why, or it isn‘t where it should be). For my understanding, you don‘t have an usual windows installation. Anyway, I‘ll update fastscraper soon to address this case and let you know.

@paradadf I will completely understand if you want to quit, but it still gives the registry error. My friend took a look at it and changed something with the internet settings. He thought it wasn't able to send a verification. So I tried his version (which looks very similar to yours. I went through the entire code and only a few things looked different. I didn't receive any errors on his and it looked as if it was going to download everything. It finished with no errors except it didn't make a gamelist.xml or create any folders nor pictures.
Just to describe how it looks, I have the filescraper.bat and scraper.exe side by side in a empty folder next to a folder with 5 gba games. The folder the roms are in is just labeled New Folder. The gba roms are in zip form. During the tests I turned my antivirus off and even turned off my firewall too. Tried it both ways.

@randyslim76 can you please show me what happens when you run the latest version of fastscraper.bat?
If a registry can’t be accessed and assuming you ser the lang to en, the error must come somewhere after. One think though, your rom folders can’t have a space in the name (New Folder doesn’t work, but New_Folder does).
And about the commenting out of the code your friend did, it shouldn’t affect the scrapping itself if you have all files in place.
Are you on a normal windows installation? Don’t you have another pc to try it out?

@paradadf i just installed universal scraper and selected recall box layout and it's working just fine. It's ok I was getting frustrated because I was eating your time so I found this and it worked. I am so very sorry that you spent so much time on this. Thank you so very much for everything you did.
