        @substring just my 2 cents: are you sure it's a real bug on Recalbox side, or just a pairing issue on the 8bitdo controller as we've mentionned in the forum ? (Users have to unpair it first, or reset it).

          @oyyodams I wish I knew ... As I don't own a 8bitdo pad, I can't test on my own. But I do believe there is a part of a misuse from people not being able to properly reset their device. Any BT device I tried would work (sometimes after a reboot)

            @substring I've updated the 8bitdo wiki page with different reset methods I've found from 8bitdo documentation. Feel free to share it over the forum and see it it helps users 🙂

                      @oyyodams thanks for your work!
                      But I’m confused with the bluetooth pairing and the start mode. Isn’t that the same? After reseting my controller, Injust need to use the start mode and I’m good to go.

                        @paradadf Thanks! About your question... I don't really know how start mode really works, and if it's really different for each controller. The 8bitdo doc is very confused. My Nes30 Pro controllers don't need any special start mode, so I can't make any test.
                        About other controllers... It seems, but I'm not sure, that some controllers need special start mode. But I don't know if it's for pairing only, or needed each time you turn them on.

                          @oyyodams I believe what you understood for Bluetooth Pairing were the instructions of holding down the Power ON Combo for, let’s say 1 or three seconds. And the Start Mode is what they call Power On.
