No audio
-
Hi everyone,
i bought an rasperry pi integrated in a gameboy on ebay but the sd card was corrupt so i had to reformat it.
After a while i got the buttons to work using the gpio settings in the config file (controller part).
But now i still don't have audio.I have tried the different settings in the audio settings but i still don't have audio coming from the headphone jacket or speaker. The other problem i have is that i don't have an ip adress in recalbox so i can't connect it to my network to upload roms.
Does anyone know how to fix these problems?
Thanks! -
@PeterD plug a usb keyboard on it ?
-
And what should i do then? What do i have to adjust in the programming?
-
-
@Substring it says KOM2835 NL9N
-
@PeterD looks like the onboard audio is disabled then. Weird ...
Which pi is inside the GB ? a pi0 ? pi2 ?
-
@Substring It has a Raspberry pi 3 inside
-
@PeterD the command i gave you should list a bcm2835 which is the onboard audio. You didn't mention it, 'im surprised
-
@Substring it could be bcm2835 too because it is very hard to read the text because of the small screen. What should i do if it is that text?
Thanks for all your help!

@PeterD you should first of all know how the sound is routed inside your gb : through some pwm gpio ? a usb device ? the usual jack output ?
-
@Substring the first time i used the gameboy i had sound coming from a little speaker or from the jack output when using a headphone..
I had to enable the gpio in config to use the buttons on the gameboy..
But to the sure i should probably open up the gameboy..right? -
@PeterD i'm afraid yes, unless you're scared to (which i'd understand). Maybe you could tell if the headphone jack was the pi one or not ?
-
@Substring I was alble to find to problem i had to set the audio to jack in the .config file. Now the sound works The last problem i have is that when i plug an ethernet cable into the raspberry i do not get an internet connection and a weird ip adress with all kinds of weird numbers and signs appears on the raspberry. Do you know how to fix that? Thanks!
-
@Substring i get this ip adress when i plug in an ethernet cable : fe80::ba27:eb27
Do you know how to fix this? -

@PeterD this is an ipv6. It happens when dhcp failed
