LG flatron blank screen

hi i have the an old LG montor Flatron l204wt. i am able to run retropie and other emulators, but recalbox loads up and i i get is blank screen. i get the splash screen with the sd card. then just blank.

ok went in and looked at all the setting so far so good till this happen
https://flic.kr/p/RvjEEP if you look at the pic you will see running it via hdmi to dvi and ruing native what my monitor wants all other resolution looks out of wack and stretched out . any ideas? or am i going to have to use retropie (works flawless on it). -

and you said you're using HDMI2DVI ? Have you read https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Connect-your-recalbox-to-a-DVI-screen-(EN) ? because i see you still have

here the recalbox.conf and btw keeping it or removing it makes no different. but i do what to thank you for the help. i really do mean it .
