Trouble adding controllers

I startede my stsyem with xbox one controller wired in. It loaded fine set it up great. Now I wanted to change it to my ps3 controller. Its not recognizing it at all... I have a rpi3 and wanted to do bluetooth with it too but not working. it doesnt recognize any bluetoolth controller. I have also tried a xbox 360 controller and it does not recognize it at all wired or wireless either.. Please help

Hello Added rpi3 support (without bluetooth) rpi3 needs a bluetooth dongle.
