Sound stuttering in Master System games

Hello, i just got into this recalbox, and loving it so far. I have a big problem though, the sound on Master System games is very bad. Stuttering constantly, making games unplayable. I tried with a different romset, - no change.
Sound is fine in Snes, Nes and some of the others.
Anyone know what to do?

Have you tried with a different emulator to see if it makes any difference?
