Xbox Elite Controller?

Hello, Just got my Recalbox setup on my new Raspberry Pi and loaded it up with my roms.  When I plug in my Elite controller it causes the system to hang and eventually crash.  I would like to know if there is some way to get this working.   Thanks   Liquidsnakeblue

I modified the recalbox.conf file as you suggested.  I will test when I get home in a few hours and am able to plug the controller in and report back.  Thank you for your prompt response. Liquidsnakeblue

No luck, immediately freezes up when i plug it in.  After restarting the pi with the controller plugged in I end up with this screen:
