I am new to all of this, is there a place I can download version 7.1.1 again. I dont have a backup of it that I know of. I will for the versions in the future.

As far as I know, old versions are always replaced when new ones released. I recommend to backup whole SD card with a disk imaging tool before doing an update.

Unfortunately this does not help for SF30 pro, as it pairs in general, but on the other hand Recalbox (even ES/menu) will not react in any way then.
Also controller setup will not find the controller even though it‘s paired, no button configuration possible too.

Update:
After restore of Recalbox 7.1.1, my SF30 pro controller works fine again, as expected.

Update:
After a fresh install of 7.2, and my 8bitdo controllers work fine in B_Start mode in the main menu's but when I go to any game I have to turn off the controllers and then turn them on again to pair them. After that they will work in the games. The Hotkey does cycle through the shaders. I found an almost identical issue in the forums for version 7.0.1.

No one else having described troubles with Pi3 B+ and SN/SF30 pro (non+ version: https://www.8bitdo.com/sn30pro-sf30pro/)? Could it be just because of updating from 7.1.1 to 7.2? May a fresh install of 7.2 help?

Known issues with SN30 pro, SF30 pro and SN30 pro + pads. It concerns firmwares of these pads.
Here are the right firmware to use (tested et approved by beta-testers) :
Appairing in android mode START + B :
SN30 Pro -> firmware v1.33
SN30 Pro + -> firmware v4.01
SF30 Pro -> firmware v1.33
Last firmware updates don't work fine. A fix is in progress.

@Scavy Thank you very much for info, great news that there's a fix coming up. Haven't seen any note in changelog, so I was not sure so far.

Do you know if controllers turn off automatically too when shutting down recalbox, when in Andtroid-mode?
Normally I always use 8bitdo controllers in Switch-mode, as I really appreciate this behaviour not having to turn off the controller separately
If not, I will wait for the RB fix and/or 8bitdo fix instead of downgrading my controllers. Everything I need is running fine in 7.1.1

@lhari84 my 8bitdo controllers turns off but not when i shut down recalbox but coz of the delay : 3 ou 5 mns after no use, they shut down.

I tried to install Firmware v1.37 (date 2021.07.16) on 8BitDo SN30PRO and it still doesn't work. Firmware version v1.33 also doesn't work for me. Can I ask for help?
