@DirtyScumbeast If I'm not mistaken, just search the Recalbox.conf file for "emulationstation.theme" and delete the lines that start with that term (back up before).

But, as I don't know what all the options you have made were, perhaps the ideal is to reinstall and start from scratch:

Maybe you are having problems with themes because you are using themes that are from previous versions and, therefore, you are having conflicts, for a theme from a previous version to work in a more up-to-date version, you need to ask the theme's author to update the theme, or, you need to update your themes, using the default theme as a base:

I recommend the Next Pixel theme, but any theme that is marked as Recalbox 7 (as you can read in the titles) should work.
