Controller configuration
-
I’ve recently done a fresh install of recalbox 7.1 and I’m attempting to use two GPIO controllers in an arcade cabinet build. I can configure both controllers in the main settings but which ever of the two controller[censored]s the start button first, that’s the only controller that gets recognized until I reconfigure the controllers. I have changed the config files already to enable GPIO and its set for 2 controllers. Looking for some assistance with this issue. Thanks in advance.

I appreciate your reply. I see the description related to a RASPBERRY PI. I’m currently using a pic build for this setup and not a PI. I have the dragonrise usb controllers that have a GPIO mapping setup. I can configure both controllers so that recalbox detects them and a ps3 usb controller. Which ever game I launch, what ever controller hits “start button” first, that’s the only controller threat responds. Additionally, the “hot key” will also not respond once a game launches. I haven’t tried your suggestion yet but I just wanted to clarify some more of the hardware that I’m using to prevent making any mistakes. Thanks again!!

@rage3566 If you don't give accurate information, it is difficult to help.
You probably have the GPIO set up wrong, check the cable layout, this is a very common mistake.
Maybe this will help:

There was one pin configuration out of place. That was my bad. Thanks for your help and patience. Cheers
