Game list visibility after delete roms

I have the same problem since i updated. You must clean gamelist.xml using an app like Gamelist Editor and use the option Action - System - Delete orphans from gamelist.
If a system is not displayed in gamelist rename the folder to "nes" for example later clean the list and rename again to original folder name.
-
@Space81 same problem here
-
@F0XHOUND @jorgemagana Sorry, but, as I understand it, you are using an old gamelist, and what I am suggesting is that, this may be the problem, because if the file is corrupted, updating it will not solve it.
Have you tried to delete the old gamelist and redo it from the beginning?
I suggest you use Skraper or ARRM to manage gamelists:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G388Gc6kkRs&list=PL2oNQ0AT7fx2ExiSNrfHUzga5GnogI4sh&index=22&ab_channel=Recalbox

@Zing impossible to try because the down of the screenscraper site.
-
@Zing but now I remeber that when 7.0 was released, I copied 8 or 9 Atomiswave roms, scraped with latest ARRM version 1.8.7.3 and when tryed if they worked I deleted a couple of them directly in Recalbox, after a restart, the roms were not there, but they were still visible in the game list.

Guys thanks to everyone for the answers, something even easier to understand happens to me, an example: I have the c64 folder with the default roms provided by RB 7.0.1, I add a rom, I restart RB and rightly see in the games list the one just put; if I then delete it, I restart RB, in the list I always see the name of the game just deleted, and in fact the gamelist.xml does not update automatically; before on RB 6.1.1 if I put or deleted the roms on reboot I saw the game list always updated, can it be a bug?

@Space81 @F0XHOUND @jorgemagana Do you have the option "Display only gamelist" active? (I don't remember the exact name of this function, but it looks something like this)
Deactivating this function, and updating the gamelist, are there any changes?
-
@Zing thanks, i'll find this function in RB and i'll report you my result
-
@Zing i find this function, but that's already set OFF
-
finally solved, @Zing thanks, you have to set "games list only" ( boot menù options ) to "ON" by default it is OFF.
All work fine, now ! Yeeees -
@Space81 I'm glad this solved your problem, BUT ... Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to make sense.
This option when active should prevent Recalbox from trying to find new ROMS when starting, which makes your boot time faster. When this option is active, if you delete or add ROMS, you will need to use the option "Update game lists".
The truth is that the system should not keep the deleted ROMs visible in the list of games, although it is related to the option you activated, it should not be mandatory. -

@Zing Hi, today unfortunately the problem came back to me, the only solution I found is to delete the gamelist.xml file and have RB recreate it, all this is very strange, because in RB 6.1.1 every rom that I added or deleted it was immediately identified and automatically updated the list.
-
@Space81 It's a bug, the team is already checking.
-
@Zing Thank You, I'm very happy to have helped to highlight a bug.
