Installing to PC on NVME SSD
-
Is there a method to installing recalbox to a NVME SSD? I can't use etcher to do so and I was wondering if there is another method via a linux live CD or something similar. Thanks!

I think you will save time with installing Recalbox OS on an external USB key

NVME
I don't really know for the nvme, but i installed my recalbox on a internal SSD using a live linux on USB with etcher on it (as far as i remember, it was probably a manjaro)
you'll then have to activate the "unsafe" option in etcher as to see aand choose the SSD drive as target.

@damidub Thanks! I'll give it a go.

I used a Hiren's Boot USB (the new PE version) with etcher portable and the image unzipped. You then use the same process as others have described, but make sure etcher is in "dangerous" mode (or whatever it's called) so it can write to large disks.
