      Hi,

please give us more details about your game files for Dreamcast.
      Which Hardware?
have you "first" use the search function in the Forum?

      EDIT:
      For neogeo:
I hope you know that the neogeo.zip BIOS must be placed in the neogeo rom folder and NOT in the bios folder.

@abunille thanks for the response, yes I have use search/google/reddit/discord. I still have this issue, the games files are "name of game", space, "(region)" then it ends with .cdi.

As for neogeo bios I must of tried at least 6-8 of them, I put them in the neogeo folder which didn't work, then I also copied them into mame, FB and bios folders. It does the same just loads to black screen and back to game list. Due note that I cannot find the Correct Checksum number that matches the wiki for the neogeo bios, the DC however matches both the bios regular and region free.

Opps forgot my hardware I don't recall the hardware since I'm not home I believe it's a Lenovo T440 i7 for sure 8gb of ram, and maybe intel HD 4400 graphics. Recalbox and roms are located on 2.5" 500GB Hardrive connected with a sata to usb adapter (active not passive).

@coldmantis you need the correct bios depending on the required romset version, so don‘t worry about the md5 checksum shown on the wiki for arcade systems.

ok that makes sense we are talking about neogeo right? not about dreamcast roms. It's been a long time since I play emulators, I recall there was like a program where you can load your rom directory and it checks a dat file or something, It's been so long that I don't recall the name of the program or where to start? any advise?

@coldmantis read the wiki, look for the word „arcade“

                Check hashes (BIOS region free):

                • dc_boot.bin > d552d8b577faa079e580659cd3517f86
                • dc_flash.bin > 74e3f69c2bb92bc1fc5d9a53dcf6ffe2

Put those 2 files in the BIOS folder (/share/bios),move your games files (*.cdi or *.gdi) to the Dreamcast folder (/share/roms/dreamcast) and everything should work without problems

                Proof:
                Power Stone with glitchs
                (Power Stone.gdi + extra files)

                MvsC2 with glitchs
                (Marvel vs. Capcom 2.cdi)

Do not ask for copyrighted content!!!

I have found some downloads but they are not working with Recalbox 😞

Probably because they are not the exact MD5s
