This won't probably be very help full but every time I got this error I fixed it by ejecting the SD card before removing it from my SD slot or USB. Try it it might work... No idea why tho. ,_,

When configuring the buttons in ES I decided to go with a bit of imagination.
For the start and select I used the joystick right and left and then the start button as the hotkey, seemed to work really nicely! And then A and B on A and B and then C left and down for X and Y. For some reason the button swaps in Emulation Station... Any fix for this?

Hello, I installed Recalbox yesterday and was amazed by it's features and that it came with Kodi inbuilt.
So because I wanted to go all out on the gaming experience I bought an n64 controller. To my surprise it was hard to configure properly and get it to work since it doesn't have a select button or a good button to use as a hotkey.

Is there any way to configure the n64 controller to be usable within EmulationStation and the other emulators aswell as mupen64?

It's name is Generic USB Controller and has a n64 controller layout. It's made by Retrolink.
