@Zing Hi again bud.
I tried doing as the link suggested, but I am still left with a white screen after reboot.
Not sure why this is so difficult. Not to worry.
Thanks once again for help and advice.
@Zing Thanks once again mate. I'll look into this further when I get a free moment.
@Zing Hi bud.
I tried both setups in that tutorial, but all I get is the same white screen after rebooting.
This is looking like it wasn't meant to be!
Any other suggestions?
@Zing Thanks for the link. I will try it later on.
Hi all.
I have a 4 inch Touch Screen TFT LCD - Model xpt2046. This seems to be a cheap version of the waveshare screen.
I managed to get it to work on RetroPie via following this tutorial: https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/4inch_RPi_LCD_(A)
I have found out that a lot of commands on RetroPie are not available in RecalBox, such as sudo and git, and as you probably already know, the tutorial above naturally doesn't work.
I've tried copying the LCD-Show folder from RetroPie to the root of the Recalbox root, but I'm just not getting anywhere. I've tried googling this with no success of getting it working.
I'm quite new to coding on the pi and setting things up, and was wondering if anyone could explain how to set up this screen in Recalbox. If there is a step by step tutorial from a new install of Recalbox, it would be very appreciated.
Thanks ever so much in advance.
@mYSt Thanks for the update.
Hi everyone.
Loving the Recalbox snap videos for each game in the list. I noticed that there seems to be 3 entrance styles as they appear. There is a spin, a fade and a grow and shrink type entrance. Each time the next game is selected in the game list, these 3 effects loop one after the other.
What I would like to do is just use the fade effect all the time for each game in the list, and somehow disable the other two effects. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks ever so much in advance for your time.
