@johnnybad82 ciao, sinceramente non ho mai riscontrato questi problemi su RPI 3B+ collegato via hdmi tramite un adattatore vga-hdmi ad un monitor vecchio 4:3. Prova a installare in modo pulito tramite il tool di recalbox ufficiale della homepage o a verificare eventuali casse audio/altoparlanti.
aggiungo che puoi usare semplicemente "Gestione Disco" di Windows e puoi eliminare le partizioni e allocare lo spazio.

Guys, I've been following recalbox since version 4 and despite having a RPI 3B+ ( without overclok ) it was utopian for me to be able to play fluidly with the Dreamcast emulator ( Flycast ), today out of curiosity I tried Virtual Striker 2000 and the fluidity I finally found was incredible without having to switch to a RPI 4, so I wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this milestone possible.

I have recently installed RB 8.1.1 ( all bios and romset working perfectly ) on my Arcade Cabinet with RPI 3B+ ( with the next pixel theme ), I wanted to ask you if you recommend a simple update to the new version 9.0 or if a new and fresh installation is better.

@Zing I tried to execute your guide above, where it specifically says :
"In the retroarch menu (hotkey + b), go to Settings and then Input user 1 keys"
but unfortunately in the case of the Amiga emulator (Amiberry), the hotkey + b command does not refer to the retroarch menu, but to Amiberry itself, so unfortunately in this case it is not possible to configure the input commands except from time to time.

Unfortunately after several attempts and more or less serious bugs, I returned to RB 7.1.1.
In fact in my case it was not necessary to start from scratch with rb 7.2, the PSX games were back to work, but unfortunately the Amiga ones do not correctly detect the joy gpio, forcing me to manually set them for each game every time :(, also as he writes in another post, moving my microsd to a windows card reader, the share partition is no longer displayed on windows, there are also many other small things that made me give up, for the first time, after many hours of testing, maybe i will upgrade directly to RB 8 , thank you all for your immense work
Hi guys, I'm doing a new install of RB 7.2 on RPI 3b + ( bartop with joystick connected in gpio ). Removing my microsd and inserting it in the card reader, unlike version 7.1.1 on windows I do not see the share partition where the games are, but only the RECALBOX partition one of a few gb, now to pass 180gb of roms I am forced to do it via Wincsp how did I do once ?

@Zing thanks, do you mean in the Recalbox menu? can you please be more precise? if I perform a factory reset I will then have to reset everything in the config file; I have the iso backup of my whole system, so I could try again to update to 7.2 ( I was back to 7.1.1 now ) thanks for your always punctuality and courtesy.
Hi, on my rpi 3b + with joysticks connection via gpio, I had some big problems on the PSX emulator that I have reported here: https://forum.recalbox.com/topic/24033/rb-7-2-on-rpi-3b- psx-emulator-gpio-problems, even the audio disappeared in the menu but I didn't have freeze, I still went back to my backup version of 7.1.1, I can't deprive my son of the PSX emulator, I will update to 7.2 when there it will be better times
Good evening guys, I just updated my arcade cabinet (rpi 3b + connected in gpio), the update 7.2 was proposed to me when I started it from recalbox; I unfortunately noticed that for some PSX games (Crash bandicoot 1,2 and 3, hercules etc.) the gpio joysticks are not recognized, while for other games like micro machines 3 everything is ok. Is it a bug of rb 7.2? with version 7.1 every psx games saw my joysticks connected in gpio, i don't understand.

I read your topics by translating the first from French, apparently it is a known bug, you just have to wait for the developers, the solutions are only temporary and valid until recalbox turns off.

New Amiberry version in auto conf start don’t read number of joysticks in the right way.
