I think i got confused. I meant. After commenting that use one config for all emu line in recalbox.conf. and then setting up my controller and saving it and uncommenting it. Did it for me ... that is all i did

Thanks for yr methods . I had to remove semicolon in line next to global config in recalbox.conf and make changes inside emulator then put back the semicolon. Now its working.

hellio there, i have 2 logitech f710 wireless controllers, the 2nd controller i map keys in game and it works, but right when i close the emulator and open again the 2nd controller stops working. i have to map everything again. I have set global config in recalbox.conf as retroarchconfig.cfg . i cannot see 2nd controller config in retroarchconfig.cfg. i made it read-only right after saving config but it resets again. what am i doing wrong?

since i upgraded to 18 version there are about 7 different splash screens playing on random. i want only recalboxintro.mp4 to play. how do i achieve this? ty

thanks , actually my recalbox blew after update fail. i deleted all files in upgrade folder through linux but it wont boot at all after colored screen. then i had to install from scratch. i had back up of all my stuff. but in this latest recalbox NextLevel 2.3 theme is not working....

I had latest recalbox now today i got notification to update so i started updating and download is right now frozen at 43%. no key is working. is it updating in background ? will it be safe to reset my recalbox in current state?

Hi i dont like seeing blackbars around games thats why i play all the games in 16:9. If devs could add the ability to put custom wallpapers inside those black bars in 4:3 mode. It will be fantastic. then i'd be able to play all my retro games in their original resolution. like this

thanks, after adding video font path location and deleting custom config in recalbox.conf which i forgot before, now i can see the text in all emus

yes i had custom configs for all emus and have them disabled in current recalbox.conf , i see text only in FBA emulator.

I am seeing yellow squares instead of yellow english fonts since i upgraded from 4.0.1 to 17... now to 18... same problem. any ideas to fix the problem?

I upgraded to Latest RB today from 4.0.1 (by clicking UPDATE) Now i somehow managed to mess up Genesis config by pressing B for all keys while setting up Input Bind inside ingame menu. Now i delete retroarchcustomconfig it doesnt do anything. No button works in genesis anymore I have to pull the plug and reboot everytime.

I cannot play retro games without scanlines , I was using 3.3.0 beta 17 since 2015, no settings i tried gave perfect scanlines, last month I upgraded to 4.0.1 and still the scanlines are not perfect in all these shaders crt caligari.glsl, scanline.glsl, crt_hillian.glsl, after many combinations, I found the perfect settings for scanlines that works for me, The out put is near perfect, If you are a scanlines fan. Use these settings
