Had this issue when I did Skraping. I did not shut down the emulator.
But I did my games Skraping via local USB hard drive. Moved images to the recalbox after.

RE: SCRAP Crashando Recalbox PC
I have just gone through this.
- Do not scrape from your computer to this Recalbox via network. It has destroyed the share drive on large scraps.
- You must shutdown emulation station with a stop command.. But, It also failed a few times for me.
The suggestion was given is to copy all your roms into a directory on your computer and scrape on it.
After the scrape is finished, copy gameslist and media to the correct directory in your recalbox folder in the share drive.I use R-Drive to create a backup of my Recalbox drive after I finished copying all roms and bios. I then check to see if it works (no images or box scrape done yet). Once I'm sure it is ok, I then extract the roms to my spare directory on my computer. R-Drive allows to pull files and directories onto a local drive.
I then started to scrap each rom folder and then via network, transfer the image directory and gamelist over to the share drive on the Recalbox computer. No errors, no killing the hard drive.. all works.
Once I'm sure all works good, I will then do a backup of my hard drive using R-Drive.
I have no idea if any other program works or not, but I think anything will do..
You can FTP or enable rcalbox to show up as a network drive on your computer. -

RE: Amiga cd 32
@gaian What I found out is make sure you type or the filename matches exactly as in the bios section.
Kick40060.CD32.ext is not the same a kick40060.cd32.EXT.
Also make sure the MD5 are correct. In windows, click on properties and check the MD5.
Use the manager 2.0 and upload the bios that way.. You know right away if its accepted or not. -
RE: Hardware - mini PC
I use a HP 610t with a 256 SSD. So fare no issues.. But not tried all games.

RE: Société qui vend Pi + Recalbox + Rom
I do not usually chime it, but.
Owning a ROM to a game means that ROM is for that game. Porting the ROM over to a different platform is not legal.
As in, if you own Galaga on a real game machine and use the ROM you copied over on an emulator, it is illegal.
If you own a floppy disk of a game for C=64 and used on an emulator its illegal. But, some companies now think that it is ok to PD some roms.
If someone makes a profit of selling ROMs thats a No No..On the other hand, like I said, some ROMs are or could be PD because companies no longer hold rights.
Will a company go after someone selling a flash card of 25,000 images.. Don't know. Will they make a $$ going after someone, Maybe, maybe not.
Unless time has changed and I missed something along the way, copyrights are still in effect for some.
They probably go after someone who sells movies faster than a ROM of an old system.
