Wie seit ihr zu recalbox gekommen?
Habe schon längere zeit mit dem Gedanken gespielt mir einen RPI und mir meinen vor einem knappen monat bestellt.
Da ich wusste das man einen RPI als retro konsole verwenden kann habe ich im internet gesucht und bin zuerst auf retropie gestoßen, dieser war mir dann aber nicht sehr benutzerfreundlich da ich als RPI Anfänger nicht wirklich wusste was ich tun und was nicht tun sollte.
Bin dann über powerpi.de/ auf recolbox aufmerksam gemacht worden und habe es gleich ausprobiert und benutze es auch seit dem.

Was macht ihr beruflich?
Bin im vertrieb von Hausautomation Systemen tätig wo wir unter anderem auch RPIs als Z-Wave Controller verkaufen.

Warum seid ihr Retrogaming Fans?
Es gibt einige gründe warum aber die Ausschlaggebenden sind eigentlich Nostalgie und das meiner meinung nach die meisten Retro RPGs eine bessere story haben als mache RPGs von heute (mit einigen wenigen ausnahmen).

@neonstation in my case it is not the issue of converting psx2psp.
I tried to load official pbp files downloaded from PSN (games i bought) that did not run.

But you mentioned that the German Roms were not recognized and the English were, if I am not mistaken the requested BIOS is from the American version, I do not know if that is the problem ...

@zing I am using a Rpi3 and the games i am trying to get to work are not psp games but PS1 Classics (mostly those that are multi disk games Like the FF titles).
The Games i tried were german version of the tiles (downloaded on my PS3 and transferred to my PSP) only my Physical Copies i converted (which are English) work fine.

du brauchst das rom in .iso hier ist eine software die das problem lösen soll ist: Ice tea

Das spiel welches ich mit diesem Programm in eine iso umgewandelt habe hat genau das gleiche gemacht wie die .pbp datei nach dem start sofort wieder in das recalbox menu.

Die roms sind auf der internen SD karte in einem folder der nach der game id benannt ist (folder mit 3 datein, eboot.pbp und 2 weitere).
Die roms waren auf meiner psp (von ps3 auf psp übertragen).

Wenn ich die eboot in der recalbox starte werde ich sofort wieder in das hauptmenü geworfen.

Würde mich gerne informieren ob offizielle PSN Spiele auf der Recalbox auch funktionieren.
Möchte gerne meine PS1 psn downloads benutzen (da diese auf deutsch sind).

Just a quick question as my problem is somewhat similar.
I am using official PSN .pbp files (just the .pbp file not the whole game folder) from my psp and only those seem not to start on the Pi (they work on the PSP thou).

Danke @Nachtgarm das Spiel läuft bei mir jetzt auch (sogar flüssiger als bei meinem retropie vorher).

Das Update hatte ich schon oben aber bin noch nicht dazu gekommen das changelog zu lesen ansonsten hätte ich gesehen das GPSP dazugekommen ist (oder war der schon da?).

Problem wäre meinerseits damit geklärt, Dankeschön.
