Recalbox 8.1.1 PC console access black screen
Hello guys,
I am already running recalbox 8.1.1 on a PC and I am trying to troubleshoot wireless not connecting.
In order to do so, I am trying to access console. I exit EmulationStation using F4 and then ALT+F2. After that, I can only see a black screen, no prompt for credentials.
I did that on previous releases and worked, but it seems to not work on 8.1.1.
Can you help me?
Thanks!!

RE: Odroid XU4. Wireless gamepad
Hi! I also own an Odroid XU4 and 8Bitdo SF30 Pro controller that I was not able to pair from the ES menu but I could using the "bluetoothctl" utility.
Check the following thread, this was the solution for me:https://forum.recalbox.com/topic/12090/utilisation-bluetooth-sur-odroid-xu4/50
I think that this fix will be included in the next stable release

RE: 8Bitdo SF30 PRO pairing lost
I am using an external bluetooth dongle (CSL - USB nano Bluetooth V4.0) but I am not quite sure if it has CSR or Broadcom chipset. I did some research and found that chipset can be CSR 8510 A10 but not 100% sure.
Anyway I am not using internal bluetooth as my board is an Odroid XU4 that does not have builtin bluetooth, so I had to buy external dongle.
I have not tried the latest christmas beta yet, I think I will also stick on the current stable version and I will wait for the next stable one as this is a minor problem for me.
Thanks for your help, lets see if the problem is gone on the next release

RE: 8Bitdo SF30 PRO pairing lost
@lhari84 the same is happening to me, after rebooting or powering off, I lose the pairing on my SF30 Pro I am using the latest 8bitdo firmware available (1.29).
Starting SF30 Pro by start+B. The only way to make It connect again is to forget bluetooth controllers an pair It again, so I need a usb-c or another USB controller to pair it again.
Any ideas?

RE: Bluetooth and Odroid XU4
Thanks very much for your answer about how to workaround that issue, I do manual pairing using bluetoothctl and work.
I also checked the topic you mentioned (https://forum.recalbox.com/topic/12090/utilisation-bluetooth-sur-odroid-xu4/50), and I did the suggestion that @bdemonte commented #48 from that thread.
I adjusted the file named 'test-discovery', then restarted and voila, I am able to discover and pair the 8Bitdo controller from the ES!!
I think that this adjustment is going to be merged in the future, so it will be fixed.
Thanks very much for your comments and support!!

RE: Bluetooth and Odroid XU4
Hi to all!
I have an Odroid XU4 with CSL bluetooth dongle and I am trying to pair SF30 Pro from 8Bitdo (firmware v1.29) but I cannot from ES (no controllers found).
If I do manual pairing using bluetoothctl command I am able to pair it and it works, but sometimes I lose the controller and from ES is not possible to do it.
I am also running latest version from Recalbox (18.07.13). Tried to pair the controller with an Android device and also works fine.
I am staring SF30 Pro using START + B, tried to reset, etc, but no way to do it from ES menu.Any help or ideas?
Thanks so much!
Note: I also own a RPi3 with Recalbox, and I have no issues pairing the same controller using the builtin bluetooth and using ES.

RE: Xbox One Controller (via USB) and N64 (mupen64plus)
Hi guys!
Finally I got the solution for that. What I did is to move from mupen64plus to libretro core (mupen64 but from libretro) under the N64 emulator settings to use.
Key mapping is now working as expected using Xbox One controller.
The problem about slowness (using libretro - mupen64) was caused because I already set libretro snes9x to use run ahead (latency settings) and saved the configuration, so N64 emulation was also trying to use run ahead settings that are quite bit processor intensive.
I just disabled run ahead (lantency settings) for this N64 core only, and now I am ready to go!Thanks!

Xbox One Controller (via USB) and N64 (mupen64plus)
Hi guys,
I am using the latest Recalbox version (18.07.13), also trying to make Xbox One controller to work correctly regarding the button mapping while using it with N64 emulation (using mupen64plus core).
Gamepad is correctly recognized under Emulationstation, button mapping is fine and even on any other emulator cores (libretro).
The problem I am facing is that using the Xbox One controller via USB with N64 emulator (mupen64plus), button mapping is wrong.
For example, Z-Trigger is mapped to the right stick (right side direction) instead to be mapped to L-Button or L-Trigger on the Xbox One controller.
I tried to add my custom file (InputAutoCfg.ini and also adding n64.configfile=dummy line to recalbox.conf) but I can not make button mapping to work as expected.
I tried to run the N64 emulation using libretro core, mapping is correct and fine, but this core is sloooowwww, so it is unplayable
Any suggestions or help?
Thanks so much guys!!!
