@xanarkan yes, but it didn´t save this, i must do this everytime i start a game.
But i found a fix by myself. I fix the resolution and aspect ratio in the configs and edit that the ratio is not given from the core.

Since the first day, i have the problem that the screen aspect ratio is fixed at 4/3, with Magic Key + X i can get in the Retroarchmenu and choose 16/9 for my TV.
But when i close the game and restart it, i got 4/3 instead of the 16/9. I try to manual change it via a .cfg in the recalbox.cfg or the pcsx-rearmed.cfg (didnt find the retroarch config itself).
Dont know what i can do more, it is a little problem but it make me sick.
btw. i use the sd card + usb stick solution.

Have you only this problem in the es? Or like me in emulation (n64) too? Sorry for english. But youre the only guys who have the same problem

Hello Guys. I updated my RPI3b from 4.1 today to 1.12.17 and now the whole system freeze for a nanosecond every 3 to 5 seconds. This problem is in the Recalbox Main Menu when i scroll between the systems, in the rom menu inside of a system where i choose a rom and inside a emulator. I dont know why. The configs didnt change and psx runs without these freezes.

UPDATE: with the Sandisk SD Card it work, dont know why, because in the RPI3 the EMTEC Card works perfect.

@substring i testet batocera and it doesnt work either, after 10 Minutes comes a batocera Screen with Version and Date + Time in the lower left corner, but then nothing happen. Now i kill my 32GB Sandisk SD Card from my Handy and try it again.

Hallo, habe einen RPI3 mit Recalbox 4.1 laufen und meinen Odroid XU4 Heute bekommen. Direkt gesehen das es ein neues Release gibt und mich schon darauf gefreut.
Ich habe also das neuste Image geladen von Recalbox und per etcher auf eine 16GB Class 10 SD Card von EMTEC (ka welche Firma das ist, aber im RPI laufen sie ohne Probleme und das Ubuntu startet auf dem XU4 auch ohne Problem nur Recalbox eben nicht).
Ich lege die SD Karte in den XU4 (schalter auf SD) und alles was ich sehe ist ein schwarzes Bild (kein "kein Signal" Bild, sondern eben ein schwarzes Bild) und die blaue LED blinkt endlos.
Getestet auf meinem ASUS Monitor und meinem Samsung TV, Ubuntu lädt (mit Bild) und bei der Recalbox passiert nix ausser einem schwarzen Bild.

@abunille Danke habe es nun hinbekommen mit folgender Anleitung:

DualShock 3

Press the reset next to the L2 button with a paperclip.
Open Bluetooth preferences (System Preferences > Bluetooth).
Connect your controller via USB
Press the PS Home button and then unplug the USB cable

DualShock 4

Press the reset on the back of the controller near the L2 button with a paperclip.
Open Bluetooth preferences (System Preferences > Bluetooth).
Press the PS Home button and Share button at the same time, until the lightbar quickly flashes.
Click "Pair" on the controller's entry in the Bluetooth preferences window.
