seems to be pi tft PLUS and not pitft xd

Uhh... what is the difference between spi or dpi bus???
Do my screen might work on dpi bus?

@Magaki Yes its the tutorial i followed.I followed the 2,8 inch screen part and I replaced dtoverlay by the same driver but in place of 28 i put 35

@Nanaki Its an adafruit 3,5" touch screen that connect directly to the rpi via spi bus

I try to connect an "thumb joystick", on gpio ports on recalbox 8 (rpi3)
something like that :

Is there a specific port to configure this or what?
Because i tried to follow this tutorial :

but its seem created for this joystick :

(cross joystick with 4 buttons)

Any help?

(P.S. the joystick works on rpi but just up and left axis,because there just 2 pins for up and left axis)

I also think that the rpi doesn't detect the screen and just boot's up when i plug a TV hdmi.

Same issue on pi3... please help

Hello, i seen this post is quite old, but i have the same issue, even in recalbox latest version (8.11 or something).
But on recalbox latest version, i can rotate to 270 ad 90°,
but the screen stays on the logo screen like DRAgon734235's screen.
I think my screen is SPI but im unsure because im new to screen modes and all (but work like that with SPI and not works with DPI).

I looked all the tutorials to connect TFT screen to rpi4 and yet doesnt works and stays the same loading screen.
