Solved Recalbox 4.1- Can't copy roms although there is enough space
-
Hi,
I just set up a new installation of Recalbox 4.1 on a 64GB sdcard. Everything works fine, but if I try to upload a hole romset via samba share (\RECALBOX\share), at some point the copying process stops, because there isn't enough free disk space. Nevertheless there are still 55GB of free diskspace. Uploading via webinterface also stops at some point. Any ideas?
Thanks!

@grimlock42g1
Have the same problem with my 64GB card. First I trough the problem was because the sd card was formatted
as exFAT. But it doesn't matter, with FAT formation it is the same.Running a RPI2 , when I also check the "Disk usage" in Recalbox, it give me just an N/A so I don't know it is broken.

I do not meant to be rude but, are you sure that your sdcard isn't one of those cards that are "way to cheap" and show up as a 32Gb card, but actually have a real 2Gb space of real storage?

A friend of mine was victim of those cards years ago.
@seic . Have you take a look at this SD card related table? Maybe your card is there, and is a known problematic one...

@nwildner
Samsung Evo, is working for many months inside my Pi. Was full with over 40GB of ROMs with 4.1 unstable until yesterday. -
Ok my card is working now. This time I haven't selected quick format.

@nwildner It is a Kingston sdcard and works fine in my smartfone. I solved the problem by using another sdcard. Seems like the pi3 doesn't like the kingston sdcard. Retropie does also have issues.
thanks nonetheless!

I have the same problem
But...
Formating without the "quick format" didn't solved my problem...
