Ghosts'n Goblins - MAME ROM

Hi guys,
No version of Ghosts'n Goblins (MAME 0.78 ROM SET) is working properly.
Either I cannot include more credits during the game or the game does not start.
Any idea?Recalbox 4.0.2.

@duskel U don't have the correct Mame 0.78 gng.zip rom, game runs ok.

I tried from different sites (all of them mame 2003 rom set).
Which site do you guys download your MAME2003 roms?Thank you!

@tikiandskull that's crazy, on my side I get "error RAM NO GOOD 0002", I found a post (same error) saying to delete the cfg (\recalbox\share\roms\mame\mame2003\cfg), I did it, but it did not work too.

@Pepe I have updated recalbox to version 4.0.2, so I would say the version which comes on this version. I suppose mame 2003.

@duskel i use recalbox 4.1 unstable maybe that's why it works for me

@duskel check it in your config, you're probably using a different core. In ES, press start to open menu, select game settings/advanced/mame, check emulator and core, u will see, some emulator and cores, to run with mame 0.78 both option at default or both emulator=libretro core=mame 0.78 both are the same thing. If it is configured in some other way then you are not running your roms with mame 0.78, change it.
@tikiandskull the correct 0.78 rom runs perfectly in 4.0, 4.01, 4.02 and 4.1. I have played same romfile in the 4 recalbox versions

@Pepe just checked it. Both were default, tried to move to libreto / mame 078. I did not work too.

you can usethe japanese version of it called makaimura (makaimuc file name).
The title is in japanese but the experience is still there!!!
